If you were wondering which numbers the new Georgia Tech Basketball players were going to wear, today is the day they were revealed.

The 2023-2024 season is still a few months away for head coach Damon Stoudamire and his squad, but there is still time to memorize the new players and their new numbers.

First up, Air Force grad transfer Cater Murphy is going to be donning the No. 4 jersey this season. Murphy averaged 7.2 PPG last season and looks to provide leadership and depth for Stoudmaire this season.

UMass transfer Tafara Gapare is going to be wearing No. 5. Gapare played one season for the Minutemen last season and averaged 3.4 PPG and 2.1 RPG last season. He played in 31 games and averaged a little over 12 minutes a game last season.

NC State transfer Ebenezer Dowuona will be wearing No. 10 this season. Last season for the Wolfpack, Dowuona averaged 1.7 PPG and 1.9 RPG in 30 games played. He averaged a little over 10 minutes played per game in the 30 games that he played this past season.

Four-star freshman forward Baye Ndongo is going to be wearing the No. 11 jersey.

Western Carolina transfer Tyzhaun Claude will be wearing No. 12 for Georgia Tech. Claude played in 31 games for the Catamounts last season and averaged 15.4 PPG and 8.6 RPG in 26 minutes played per game. His best scoring game came against Samford this season when he put up 24 points. There was only one game all season where Claude failed to score double-digit points. His season-high in rebounding came in a loss to the Citadel, where he gathered 17 boards.

Former five-star player and Florida transfer Kowacie Reeves will be wearing No. 14 this season. The Georgia native spent his first two years at Florida where he started 17 games and played in 60, averaging 15.5 minutes and 19.3 minutes each year. Reeves averaged 7.1 points, 37.7% from the field, and 29.2% from three over the two seasons. He improved his rebound average sophomore year, grabbing 2.6 rebounds a game and also had 0.5 steals a game.
