Georgia Tech is hosting official visitors in the 2024 class for the third straight week, but one talented 2025 target made his way to campus today.

Ryan Ghea (Milton High School, GA) is a four-star prospect in the 2025 class according to 247Sports and he is taking an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech today. He is ranked as the No. 154 player in the country and the No. 21 player in the state of Georgia.

Ghea also has other offers from Auburn, Cincinnati, Boston College, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas, among others. He took an unofficial visit to Miami at the beginning of June.

Georgia Tech was one of the first schools to offer Ghea back in May 2022. The Yellow Jackets currently do not have a commitment in the 2025 class.

It is good for the Yellow Jackets and their staff to get talented in-state players on campus early and start forming and building that relationship. Brent Key wants to start getting more of the blue-chip talent that is in the area and Ghea is going to be one of the top players in the 2025 class. While the 2025 class is a ways off, putting in the early work can pay dividends.

In the 2024 class, Georgia Tech has one tight end committed. David Prince, who plays at Glynn Academy in Brunswick, GA, committed to the Yellow Jackets earlier this week.
