Heading into the month of September, teams in the ACC are still chasing Florida State in the recruiting rankings and not many teams are going to be in position to catch the Seminoles. However, there is still plenty of movement behind them as teams are fighting to be ahead of the other.

There were only two commitments this past week in the ACC, but both players hope to make impacts on their teams sooner rather than later.

So who were the two commitments in the ACC this week?

North Carolina has held firm in the ACC at the No. 4 spot in the conference and they got a potential playmaker at the wide receiver position this week. Javarius Green, who plays at Crest High School in North Carolina, committed to the Tar Heels this week and he holds an impressive offers list. Alabama, Michigan State, Maryland, NC State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech, among others. Green is a 5'10 190 LBS receiver and North Carolina has done a good job of developing at the position and Green could be the next stud receiver for the Tar Heels.

Green was not the only prospect from the state of North Carolina to commit this week.

Three-star offensive tackle Tyler West, who plays at Andrews High school in Andrews, North Carolina, committed to NC State this week. The 6'5 270 LBS offensive lineman had other offers from Duke, App State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest, among others. This was a solid get for the Wolfpack and I think West will be a starter for them at some point down the line.
