It is that time in the recruiting cycle where prospects are starting to narrow their choices down into a select few schools and Georgia Tech has made the top ten for one of the best interior offensive linemen in the country. 

Justin Hasenhuetl, who plays at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Georgia, listed his top ten schools today and the in-state Yellow Jackets made the cut. Georgia Tech has found success recruiting prospects from Rabun Gap as they signed wide receiver Trey Horne in the 2024 class and Horne was one of the top prospects in the Yellow Jackets 2024 class. Georgia Tech is also pursuing Rabun Gap four-star tight end Marshall Pritchett. 

According to 247Sports, Hasenhuetl is a four-star prospect, the No. 100 prospect in the nation, the No. 4 IOL, and the No. 14 player in the state of Georgia. The other schools in his top ten include Clemson, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Michigan, Florida State, USC, Arkansas, and Miami. 

Today, Georgia Tech also made the cut for 2025 edge Taeshawn Alston.

The other schools in Alston's top six are South Carolina, Rutgers, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Per the 247Sports Composite, Alston is rated as a three-star player, the No. 427 player in the country, the No. 31 edge, and the No. 10 player in the state of North Carolina.

Earlier this week, Georgia Tech made the cut for four-star wide receiver Travis Smith Jr.

The other schools in Smith's top eight include Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Colorado, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Smith Jr is a four-star prospect, the No. 196 player in the country, the No. 25 wide receiver in the country, and the No. 27 player in the state of Georgia.
