Full 2023 Georgia Tech Football Schedule Released

Georgia Tech has released its 2023 football schedule tonight

At long last, the ACC schedule has been released.

Some of the dates for the games have been known for some time, but the official dates for other games were still not known.

Let's break down the Georgia Tech 2023 schedule.

1. vs Louisville, Mercedes Benz Stadium (9/1)

Georgia Tech is going to open up its season vs Louisville and they are going to get to do so on a Friday night. It is likely that they are going to play this game on national television, but that is still to be determined.

2. vs South Carolina State (9/9)

This should be the easiest game of the season for Tech. After the opener against Louisville, this will be a nice game for the team to either keep up the momentum or get it started for the year.

3. At Ole Miss (9/16)

This was an ugly game for the Yellow Jackets last season, losing 42-3, but that was with Geoff Collins as the head coach. This time, Brent Key will be the head coach and the game will be in Oxford. Tough test for Tech.

4. At Wake Forest (9/23)

One of Georgia Tech's new three permanent opponents in the ACC and a rematch of the 2006 ACC Championship game. The Demon Deacons will be replacing star quarterback Sam Hartman, but this will be a tough test on the road.

5. vs Bowling Green (9/30)

This will be the last non-conference game until Georgia at the end of the year. This should be a Tech win.

6. At Miami (10/7)

For the first game of October, Georgia Tech travels to South Beach to try and beat Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes. Miami beat Tech last season in Atlanta 35-14.

7. vs Boston College (10/21)

After a bye week, Georgia Tech will host Boston College, who will be trying to replace quarterback Phil Jurkovec and wide receiver Zay Flowers. Georgia Tech might need to win this game if they want to go to a bowl game.

8. vs North Carolina (10/28)

One of the biggest upsets of the 2022 season came when Key and the Yellow Jackets beat North Carolina on the road. Drake Maye is back at quarterback, but this game will be in Atlanta. Georgia Tech is hoping to win its third straight over the Tar Heels

9. At Virginia (11/4)

Georgia Tech has never played well in Charlottesville, but UVA might be one of the ACC's worst teams in 2023. The Cavs beat Georgia Tech in Atlanta last season.

10. At Clemson (11/11)

Clemson will once again be one of the top teams in the ACC and Death Valley is a tough place to play. This will be one of the toughest games on the schedule for Georgia Tech.

11. vs Syracuse (11/18)

Syracuse is losing a lot of key talent off of last year's seven-win team, but they might not be an easy out for Tech.

12. vs Georgia (11/25)

This will undoubtedly be the toughest game of the season for Georgia Tech. Georgia has won back-to-back national championships and will be looking to three-peat. Georgia Tech hung tight in this game longer than anyone expected last season, but have not beaten the Bulldogs since 2016.
