Georiga Tech is preparing for its upcoming game vs No. 17 North Carolina, but the game time for their matchup against Virginia on Nov. 4th was revealed today.

Georgia Tech is going to be getting another game on the CW on November 4th and they will kick off against UVA at 2:00 p.m. Georgia Tech played Wake Forest on the CW earlier this season and won that game 30-16.

Last season, Virginia came to Atlanta and ruined Brent Key's 2-0 start as the interim head coach. After big wins against Pitt and Duke, Georgia Tech came into the Thursday night matchup against the Cavaliers as a favorite, but it was a nightmare game for the Yellow Jackets. Jeff Sims was injured early in the game and aside from a LaMiles Brooks pick-six, it was tough to find points. That loss kept Georgia Tech from reaching a bowl game for the first time since 2018 and the Yellow Jackets have to go on the road in the first week of November to play a Virginia team that suddenly has a lot of confidence after beating North Carolina last weekend.

UVA holds the all-time series edge, but only slightly. The Cavaliers are 22-21 all-time against Georgia Tech and are on a three-game winning streak against the Yellow Jackets and have won five of the past seven. The former ACC Coastal rivals have played a lot of close games over the years and it is possible the game on November 4th will be as well. Georgia Tech's last win against Virginia came at home in 2018, a 30-27 victory.

Until this past weekend's win over North Carolina, it had been a dismal season for Tony Elliott and the Cavaliers. They have gone back and forth between quarterbacks, but Tony Muskett and the offense found something that worked on Saturday night against the Tar Heels and came away with a win.

Georgia Tech has homecoming weekend coming up against North Carolina on Saturday night and the game will kick off at 8:00 on ACC Network.
