Updated ACC Standings: Week Seven

How do the ACC standings look after the week six games?

The ACC race saw some interesting results on Saturday that are going to impact the conference title race.

Louisville did not play in a conference game, but their win on Saturday had perhaps the biggest impact. The Cardinals won convincingly over Notre Dame and showed that they belong in the ACC title race and possibly even more. They take on Pitt this weekend as they look to move to 4-0 in conference play.

Florida State is now 3-0 in the conference after a convincing win over Virginia Tech and the Seminoles remain the top playoff contender in the ACC.

North Carolina and Georgia Tech were big winners yesterday. The Yellow Jackets stunned Miami with a last-second touchdown and the Tar Heels dominated Syracuse in a win. North Carolina faces Miami on Saturday.

Duke was off this week and the Blue Devils face NC State this Saturday.

Clemson did not win pretty, but they defeated Wake Forest 17-12 and won their second straight conference game.

Virginia, Boston College, and NC State each got wins over non-conference foes
