Adam Morrison believes Gonzaga is 'peaking at the right time'

"We're heading in the right direction," Morrison said on The Perimeter. "A lot of basketball yet to be played but we're peaking at the right time, in my opinion"

How well a team plays in November and December doesn't dictate what it can achieve in March. Nonconference wins and losses can affect a team's ranking in the human and computer polls, but what's done in January and February during league play can set a program up for postseason success.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are trending in that direction amid their five-game winning streak in WCC action.

During that stretch Gonzaga has gone from 46th to 26th in the NET Rankings, the biggest rise from any WCC team in that period, and has won each game by an average margin of 23 points. Consistency from behind the arc has been a big factor, as the Bulldogs have shot 39.3% on 3-point attempts, as well as their efforts defensively. Gonzaga has allowed 65.4 points to its opponents since its loss at Santa Clara on Jan. 11.

Former Gonzaga All-American Adam Morrison broke down why he believes the Bulldogs are on the right track on an episode of The Perimeter. (Morrison's comments start at the 31:40 mark of the video.)
