Dan Dickau on Gonzaga's outlook in the WCC: 'The sky is not falling'

Bulldogs eye first win on the road against Pepperdine

Despite the letdowns in nonconference play, along with last week's loss at Santa Clara, the season is far from over for the Gonzaga men's basketball team.

The Bulldogs (11-5, 2-1 WCC) don't have much of an at-large chance of making the 2024 NCAA Tournament, as they sit on the bubble in the latest ESPN Bracketology. Checking in at 47th in the NET Rankings without a quality win (0-4 in Quad 1 games) on the resume likely means that a 24th consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament will have to come via a WCC Tournament championship. For all of Gonzaga's struggles to this point, that path is still there if the Bulldogs can start winning on the road in conference play.

Former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau previews the Bulldogs' upcoming stretch against Pepperdine and San Diego on a new episode of Gonzaga Nation.
