Gonzaga Bulldogs vs. Loyola Marymount Lions: Latest betting odds for WCC men's basketball game

Bulldogs are 15.5-point favorites on the road against the Lions

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are back on the road as they face an injury-riddled Loyola Marymount squad at Gersten Pavilion in Los Angeles.

Gonzaga (18-6, 8-2 WCC) enters the West Coast Conference matchup after its biggest win of the season thus far last Saturday, an 89-85 upset over No. 17 Kentucky at Rupp Arena. Led by Graham Ike's 23 points, the Bulldogs led by as many as 12 points in the first half before weathering the storm from the Wildcats, who went ahead by six in the second half. Gonzaga scored on 18 of its final 22 possessions and held Kentucky without a field goal for the final two minutes.

Nolan Hickman and Anton Watson had 17 points apiece, Ben Gregg made big plays down the stretch to finish with 14 points, five rebounds, two steals and two blocks, while Braden Huff had 12 points in 15 minutes off the bench.

Gonzaga is 12-0 when Huff scores in double-figures. The 6-foot-10 redshirt freshman is averaging 10.9 points, the most by any reserve in the WCC, and is shooting 61.7% from the field.

Gonzaga leads the WCC in field goal percentage (50.6%, fourth in NCAA Division-I), scoring (84.9 points, ninth nationally) and rebounds per game (40.8). The Bulldogs are 13-0 when they score 80 points or more this season and 12-0 when they shoot 50% or better from the field. Defensively, they're 17-4 when limiting opponents to under 47% shooting from the floor and have only allowed 80 or more points twice this season.

LMU (10-14, 3-7 WCC) has lost four straight after an 82-73 letdown at home against Pepperdine last week. Injuries haven't been kind to the Lions, who only dressed seven players against the Waves and will only have six scholarship players available on Thursday, per Jon Rothstein.

Former Gonzaga guard Dominick Harris will not play after suffering a knee injury last week in a loss at San Francisco. The 6-foot-3 redshirt junior leads LMU with 14.0 points per game and tops the WCC in 3-point field goal percentage (43.6%, 11th in the nation).

In the previous matchup in Spokane, LMU committed a season-high 20 turnovers that led to 29 points the other way for the Bulldogs in the 92-58 blowout two weeks ago.

Gonzaga is 11-12 against the spread this season according to covers.com. The Bulldogs are 2-3 ATS when favored on the road, per teamrankings.com, and are 6-4 ATS in WCC games.

LMU is 10-13 ATS and has failed to cover in its last three games. The Lions are 5-5 ATS in WCC games and 1-1 as the underdog at home.

Head-to-head, LMU has covered four of the last six matchups against Gonzaga, though the Bulldogs have beaten the spread in three of the last four meetings.
