Gonzaga guard Luka Krajnovic is 'probably a week away' from returning

Bulldogs freshman guard has been out with a broken hand since Dec. 15

The Gonzaga Bulldogs could be getting some more help off the bench soon, as freshman guard Luka Krajnovic is "probably a week away" from returning to action after suffering a broken hand on Dec. 15.

Krajnovic has appeared in six games this season, averaging 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11.7 minutes played.

In his absence, Mark Few has had to rely heavily on his starting backcourt. Nolan Hickman and Ryan Nembhard have averaged over 35 minutes in West Coast Conference play and have played 40 minutes a combined seven times since Krajnovic's injury on the day of the UConn game.

Former Gonzaga All-American Adam Morrison talked about Krajnovic's timeline and broke down the importance of his return on a new episode of Talking Zags. (Morrison talks about Krajnovic starting at the 12:17 mark in the video.)
