Gonzaga's Anton Watson, Ryan Nembhard after win over Pacific: 'We gotta take full advantage of every game'

Bulldogs won their fourth straight heading into the final four games of the regular season

No one needs to fill in the Gonzaga Bulldogs on just how important the final stretch of West Coast Conference play in the regular season is regarding their NCAA Tournament aspirations.

"Every game counts; we gotta take full advantage of every game," said Anton Watson after Saturday's 102-76 win over Pacific. "I think we feel pretty confident on those games right now."

The Bulldogs had one of their most impressive nights offensively against the Tigers, as they shot a season-best 66.1% from the field, had four players finish in double-figures in scoring, shot 8-for-20 from downtown and 20-of-22 from the charity stripe — the first time this season they shot at least 60% from the field, 40% on 3-point attempts and 90% from the free-throw line.

Watson and Ryan Nembhard broke down how Gonzaga (20-6, 10-2 WCC) has kicked things into high gear down the stretch of the regular season.

Nembhard on the offensive explosion as of late:

"We're flowing offensively. I'm just making simple reads out there and just seeing things a bit slower. We're just flowing pretty well right now at the right point in the year."

Watson on the state of the team after four-straight wins:

"We got four more games left and one more game at home, so every game counts; we gotta take full advantage of every game. I think we feel pretty confident in those games right now."

Watson on playing his last game in The Kennel next Saturday:

"I feel like the season flew by super fast and I didn't even realize next Saturday is the last home game. I'll definitely prepare for that, but we still gotta win the game so I'll be locked in."
