The No. 10 Gonzaga Bulldogs face their biggest challenge of the season on Friday when they head back to Seattle for a clash against No. 5 UConn in the 2023 Continental Tire Seattle Tip-Off.

The Zags (8-2) enter the top-10 matchup fresh off a 78-40 win over Mississippi Valley State on Monday. Braden Huff paced in scoring for the third game this season, as the redshirt freshman finished with 17 points against the Delta Devils. The 40 points allowed were the fewest by the program since December 2018.

Monday's win followed a frustrating 78-73 loss at Washington, in which the Bulldogs squandered an 11-point second-half lead as they missed 11 of their final 12 shot attempts. Less than a week later, they return to the Emerald City seeking the program's first win over a ranked opponent this season.

That will be easier said than done against a Huskies (9-1) team that has looked the part of the defending national champions. Head coach Dan Hurley's squad has dominated the opposition, winning by an average margin of 28.4 points per game. UConn is No. 4 in offensive efficiency according to KenPom and boasts the best 2-point field goal percentage (64.2%) of any team in the country.

Rutgers transfer Cam Spencer adds 15.9 points per game and shoots 41.9% on 3-point attempts. Donavan Clingan is second in the Big East with 2.1 blocks per game.
