Isiah Harwell, 5-star recruit in 2025 class, reschedules Gonzaga visit for late February

Top-10 recruit will reportedly be on campus Feb. 23

Isiah Harwell, the No. 7-ranked recruit in the 2025 class according to 247Sports, has rescheduled his official visit with Gonzaga for Feb. 23.

The 6-foot-6 guard out of Wasatch Academy (Utah) was originally slated to visit Spokane on Feb. 3 and be in attendance for the Bulldogs' home game against Saint Mary's. Harwell was not present in The Kennel for that game, and instead will be in town just a day before Gonzaga's home game against Santa Clara on Feb. 24. Harwell has already taken an unofficial visit to Gonzaga.

Along with the Bulldogs, Harwell is reportedly considering Texas, North Carolina, Alabama, Baylor, UCLA, Cal, Houston and Idaho State. His only visits thus far are with Gonzaga and UNC, both of which appear to be the frontrunners, though he has finalized a visit with Cal as well.

According to On3.com, which ranks Harwell as the No. 1 player in Utah, the Bulldogs have the best odds at landing the 6-foot-6 guard. Rivals.com, however, puts the Tar Heels in the driver's seat. 247Sports.com does not have a crystal ball prediction at the moment, but most signs point to either Mark Few or Hubert Davis landing the talented combo guard.

Few likes running as many ball-handlers in the starting lineup as possible, especially guards with size. Dusty Stromer, 6-foot-7, and Luka Krajnovic, 6-foot-5, currently fit that mold and could fill in larger roles down the road, potentially alongside Harwell and Nik Khamenia, a four-star recruit in 2025 who's been heavily pursued by Gonzaga as well.
