Ahead of the premier multi-team event in college basketball this season, the No. 11 Gonzaga Bulldogs held their position in the Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday.

The Zags (2-0) enter the 2023 Maui Invitational as the lowest-ranked top-25 team in the eight-team field, headlined by No. 1 Kansas, No. 2 Purdue, No. 4 Marquette and No. 7 Tennessee. All of the ranked programs held their standing in the poll from the week prior. UCLA and Syracuse were not featured in the latest poll, though both programs enter the tournament undefeated.

The only movement in the top tier of the poll came from No. 10 Miami, which won the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship with a win over Kansas State. The Hurricanes (5-0) climbed two spots to enter the top 10 for the first time since the 2017-18 season.

Miami replaced Florida Atlantic, which dropped nine spots to No. 19 after a home loss to Bryant on Sunday.

No. 3 Arizona and No. 5 UConn rounded out the top five, with both programs receiving first-place votes. No. 6 Houston, No. 8 Creighton and No. 9 Duke followed suit, with the Blue Devils (3-1) being the highest-ranked one-loss team in the poll.

No. 18 Colorado had the biggest jump in the rankings, going up seven spots to extend the program's first stay in the poll since the 2020-21 season. No. 14 North Carolina had the second-largest jump, going up six spots. No. 15 Texas rose four spots after Max Abmas' game-winning basket over Louisville at Madison Square in the Empire Classic.

No. 23 USC dropped seven spots after a home loss to UC Irvine, while No. 20 Arkansas fell six spots after dropping a home game to UNC Greensboro. No. 24 Virginia and No. 25 Mississippi State entered the poll for the first time this season, while Villanova and Illinois now sit on the outside after being ranked last week.

Saint Mary's didn't receive votes in the latest poll amid a three-game skid. After starting the season at No. 23, the Gaels (2-3) blew a second-half lead to Weber State at home before double-digit losses to San Diego State and Xavier at the Continental Tires Main Event in Las Vegas.
