NBA Summer League 2023: How to watch Julian Strawther & Denver Nuggets vs. Milwaukee Bucks
The 2023 NBA season doesn't start until October, but Denver Nuggets fans won't have to wait that long to get their first look at first-round draft pick Julian Strawther.
Strawther and the Nuggets open their NBA Summer League schedule against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, and the former Gonzaga Bulldog will make his NBA debut against a familiar face.
After leading the Bulldogs to a West Coast Conference title together just a few months ago, Strawther and Gonzaga's all-time leading scorer Drew Timme will now have their first chance to face off as foes when the two meet Friday in Las Vegas.
Both Timme and Strawther will have either five or six games to make their mark in Summer League action.
All 30 NBA teams will play at least five games, but after each team has played its first four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs consisting of a semifinal and championship matchup.
The two teams that advance to the championship will play a sixth and final game.
