NBA Summer League 2023: Julian Strawther, Denver Nuggets Vegas schedule
After being drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft last month, Julian Strawther will get his first chance to take the court in a Denver Nuggets jersey when they kick off NBA Summer League action in Las Vegas this week.
The former Gonzaga Bulldog convinced Denver he was worth a first-round selection with an impressive pre-draft workout, and now he will have an early opportunity to prove he is a good fit for the Nuggets with two weeks' worth of Summer League matchups.
Strawther and the Nuggets will play either five or six games with all NBA teams playing at least five games. After each team has played its first four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs consisting of a semifinal and championship matchup.
The two teams that advance to the championship will play a sixth and final game.
