NBA Summer League 2023: How to watch Drew Timme & Milwaukee Bucks vs. Denver Nuggets
After going undrafted during last month's NBA Draft and signing as a free agent with the Milwaukee Bucks, former Gonzaga All-American Drew Timme is likely eager to prove his worth to his new team.
The all-time leading scorer in Bulldogs' program history won't have to wait long, as the Bucks kick off their 2023 NBA Summer League schedule against the Denver Nuggets Friday.
For Timme, playing in his first NBA game is sure to be a surreal moment, but it might feel even more strange going against one of the guys that helped him lead Gonzaga to a West Coast Conference title in March.
Timme and the Bucks will begin Summer League play against the Denver Nuggets and their first-round draft pick Julian Strawther.
Friday's game will be the first of five or six games Timme has to demonstrate he is a good fit for the Bucks.
All 30 NBA teams will play at least five games, but after each team has played its first four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs consisting of a semifinal and championship matchup.
The two teams that advance to the championship will play a sixth and final game.
