AP Poll: Air Force To #17, Tulane To #21, JMU To #23

All three Group of Five teams that entered Week Nine in the AP Top 25 won their matchups this weekend. As a result, they all moved up in the Week Ten AP Poll released on Sunday afternoon.

The Air Force Falcons earned a road win over in-state rival Colorado State, moving them from #19 to #17.

The Tulane Green Wave moved from #22 to #21 after a two-point road win over the Rice Owls. 

Finally, the James Madison Dukes moved from #25 to #23 after a close win against in-state Sun Belt foe Old Dominion. The Dukes are ineligible for the postseason due to the NCAA's FCS-to-FBS transition rules.

Other teams from the Group of Five that received votes include the Liberty Flames (47 points), the Fresno State Bulldogs (16 points , and the Toledo Rockets (three points). The Liberty Flames are the only G5 team besides Air Force and James Madison to still be undefeated. Liberty beat Western Kentucky this week to move to 8-0.

The first College Football Playoff rankings of the season will be released on Tuesday night on ESPN. The final regular season rankings will be the main determining factor in  which G5 team will go to the New Year's Six.
