On the first episode of the week, Joe Londergan and Eric Henry take a closer look at how UTSA picked up their first win of the year when they hosted Texas State. Longtime friends GJ Kinne and Jeff Traylor treated us all to a show.

There was plenty of other action from this week that we need to chat through as well, including a member of the Helton family whose name isn't Tyson or Clay.

While Tulane's loss to Ole Miss knocked them out of the Top 25, it far from eliminates them for contention in the NY6. Or, are we ready to see another team take a run at the usual prize for the top Group of Five team?

On another note, it looks like the Mountain West's attempt at adding Oregon State and/or Washington State won't be moving forward...at least for the time being. So, what does that mean for the western-most G5 conference?

For the first time on the podcast, we're also getting into recruiting! At the tail end of last week, we started to look at a running back prospect with multiple G5 offers on the table.
