BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Coach Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers are back in action Sunday night against Army.
Indiana opened the season on Tuesday with a 69-63 win over Florida Gulf Coast in a game that was closer than some may have expected. Senior guard Trey Galloway led the Hoosiers with 16 points, and sophomore center Kel'el Ware logged his first-career double-double.
Under first-year coach Kevin Kuwik, Army lost to Marist in its season opener, 71-55.

Meet the coaches
- Kevin Kuwik, Army: Kuwik is in his first season at Army, representing his first head coaching job. Last year, he was an assistant coach at Butler under Thad Matta. Kuwik made previous stops as an assistant coach at Davidson, Dayton and Ohio, as well as Division II programs St. Michael's and Christian Brothers. Kuwik is a 1996 graduate of Notre Dame ROTC, and served 10 years in the United States Army.
- Mike Woodson, Indiana: Woodson is in his third season at Indiana with a 45-26 overall record and a 21-19 mark in regular season Big Ten play. Woodson has NBA head coaching experience with the Atlanta Hawks from 2004-10 and the New York Knicks from 2012-14. Woodson played at Indiana University from 1976-80, and was named the Big Ten's Most Valuable Player as a senior under coach Bob Knight. He was the 12th overall pick in the 1980 NBA Draft, and played for various teams from 1980-91, averaging 14 points over 786 games.
