MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Saturday afternoon, No. 1 seed Indiana will take on No. 4 seed Ohio State in the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament semifinals at Target Center.

Friday, the Hoosiers defeated No. 9 seed Michigan State 94-85 to advance while the Buckeyes took care of No. 5 Michigan 81-79.

This tournament, the Hoosiers are led by senior forward Mackenzie Holmes, who dropped a 27-point, 5-rebound performance while Stillwater, Minn. native Sara Scalia added 20 points. Junior guard Chloe Moore-McNeil was another difference maker as she had a career night with a 19-point, 11-assist double-double.

Big Ten Freshman of the Year Cotie McMahon had a 28-point, 12-rebound double-double for Ohio State as the Buckeyes shut down the Wolverines in a nail biter.

McMahon said in a post game press conference the matchup with Indiana Saturday is personal. The Buckeyes lost twice to the Hoosiers this season, once on the road and once at home.

The good news for Ohio State is senior guard and 2022 AP All-American honorable mention Jacy Sheldon is back in the lineup after missing 23 games with a foot injury. Buckeyes head coach Kevin McGuff said she's not exactly on a minutes restriction, but they're trying to avoid long stretches with their star point guard.

The winner of this matchup will face either No. 2 Iowa or No. 3 Maryland in the Big Ten championship on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN.
