BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Mike Woodson and the entire Indiana basketball coaching staff are embarking on two trips that would go a long way in shaping the program's future, if executed.

First, the staff will travel northeast to White Plains, N.Y., where they'll visit with Boogie Fland, a five-star guard in the class of 2024 at Archbishop Stepinac High School, according to college basketball insider Andrew Slater.

After visiting Fland, who some consider the top high school point guard in the country, Woodson and staff are scheduled to travel south to Montverde Academy, just outside Orlando, Fla. There, they'll meet with five-star small forward Liam McNeeley and five-star center Derik Queen, according to Slater's report.

Indiana does not have any commitments in the class of 2024 yet, but these three players represent Indiana's biggest current targets on the recruiting trail. All three recruits have taken official visits to Indiana, and Woodson has been a frequent visitor to their high schools over the last month.

Woodson has some serious competition to fend off, as Fland's other finalists include Kentucky and Alabama, and McNeeley is also considering Kansas. Queen recently visited Kansas and LSU, and he's scheduled to visit Houston and Maryland in October.

Fland, McNeeley and Queen are widely considered three of the nation's best, and all have a solid chance to be named McDonald's All-Americans. In the ESPN Top 100, McNeeley is ranked No. 13 in the nation, followed by Queen at No. 15 and Fland at No. 18.

Woodson and staff are taking a big swing with this class, and Wednesday represents a crucial day in their recruiting efforts.
