Indiana Women's Basketball Moves Up in Week 19 Associated Press Poll

Indiana women's basketball has moved up a spot in the Associated Press Top 25 Week 19 Poll. See inside for the full list including season records.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana women's basketball moved back up to the No. 2 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll in Week 19.

On Selection Sunday, the Hoosiers earned the program's first one-seed, which will allow Indiana to host the First Four through the second round of the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament.

Iowa moved down one spot to No. 3 this week after earning a two-seed. The Hawkeyes will face Southeastern Louisiana in the first round of the tournament in the Seattle 4 regional. 

The Maryland Terrapins also moved down to No. 7 despite earning a two-seed as they will face Holy Cross in the Greenville 1 first round.

Ohio State stayed put at No. 12 after receiving a three-seed in the Seattle 3 regional. The Buckeyes will play James Madison first.

Rounding out the Big Ten teams in the poll is No. 18 Michigan that earned a six-seed and will square up against UNLV in the Greenville 2 regional first round.
