Rutgers junior forward Mawot Mag suffered a torn ACL in the first half of Rutgers' 61-55 home victory over Michigan State on Saturday. He will miss the rest of the season.

Starting all 23 games for the Scarlet Knights this season, Mag, a 6-foot-7 junior, plays 25 minutes per game. He averages 7.8 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field. Mag scored seven points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked two shots when Rutgers beat Indiana 63-48 on Dec. 3

With Mag out, expect increased minutes for bench players Aundre Hyatt, Antwone Woolfolk, Dean Reiber and Oskar Palmquist. Hyatt is fourth on the team at 9.4 points per game, and Palmquist scored a season-high 13 points against Minnesota on Wednesday. Woolfolk is a 6-foot-9 freshman who hasn't played double-minutes since Dec. 30, and Reiber is a 6-foot-10 junior who scored eight points at Iowa on Jan. 29.

Tipoff between No. 18 Indiana and No. 24 Rutgers is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
