BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana hosted its annual Hoosier Hysteria event Friday night inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

After player introductions, coach Mike Woodson gave an introductory speech to preview the season. He discussed expectations for his third season, Bob Knight, his love for Indiana fans and more.

Woodson lost six key rotation players from last season, including Trayce Jackson-Davis, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Miller Kopp, Race Thompson, Tamar Bates and Jordan Geronimo. He added three freshmen – Mackenzie Mgbako, Gabe Cupps and Jakai Newton – as well as three transfers: Kel'el Ware, Anthony Walker and Payton Sparks

The Hoosiers first take the court for a pair of exhibition games on Oct. 29 against Indianapolis, then Nov. 3 against Marian, both at Assembly Hall. Indiana's first real game is at home on Nov. 7 against Florida Gulf Coast.
