How to Watch, Event Details For 2023 Hoosier Hysteria on Friday

2023 Hoosier Hysteria will take place Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and can be streamed on Big Ten-plus.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana will host the annual Hoosier Hysteria preseason event on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Fans can stream Hoosier Hysteria on Big Ten-plus.

Big Ten-plus offers three subscription options.

  1. Conference pass: Access to all Big Ten-plus content for $119.95 per year or $14.95 per month.
  2. School pass: Pick your school of choice and receive all Big Ten-plus content for that school for $79.95 per year or $9.95 per month.
  3. Sport pass: Pick your sport of choice and receive all Big Ten-plus content for that sport. For example, the basketball pass costs $54.99 per year. There is no monthly option for the basketball pass.

Admission is free, but fans are asked to donate a canned food item to benefit the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. Students may enter at 6:15 p.m, and the doors open for the general public at 6:30 p.m.

Per IU, parking is free. Fans are asked to enter via Gates 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 with ADA parking available in Gate 13. Due to the Homecoming Parade, 17th Street will be closed from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Enter off the Bypass (Gate 10 or 11) to park on the Athletics campus during this time.

2023 Hoosier Hysteria will feature musical performance from rapper Gucci Mane.

The men's and women's teams will take part in a 3-point shooting contest, skills competitions, and other basketball activities, followed by a halfcourt shot for tuition.

Food trucks will be available outside of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall beginning at 4:30 p.m. Local cuisine will be served until 6:30 p.m. for those attending the Homecoming Parade and fans lining up to attend Hoosier Hysteria.

Fans can also purchase the iconic Indiana basketball floating heads poster at Hoosier Hysteria inside the Indiana Team Store in the west doors beginning at 6:30 p.m., and they are also available online.

For the 2023-24 Indiana men's basketball season, two exhibition games and one nonconference game will be broadcast on Big Ten-plus. This includes the Indianapolis exhibition game on Oct. 29, the Marian exhibtion game on Nov. 3 and a nonconference game against Kennesaw State on Dec. 29.

For the 2023-24 Indiana women's basketball season, nine games will be broadcast on Big Ten-plus. These games include Northwood on Nov. 1, Eastern Illinois on Nov. 9, Murray State on Nov. 17, Lipscomb on Nov. 19, Stetson on Dec. 3, Evansville on Dec. 18, Penn State on Jan. 10, Northwestern on Jan. 28 and Purdue on Feb. 11.
