BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino missed a floater in the lane, but Trayce Jackson-Davis was there to clean it up.

After a few deflections on the rebound, Jackson-Davis came down with the loose ball and cut Illinois' lead to 38-35 at halftime. Jackson-Davis leads Indiana with 11 points, and Illinois' Matthew Mayer has 16.

Next up for Indiana is a trip to Michigan State for a 9 p.m. ET tipoff on Tuesday night at the Breslin Center. The Spartans are 16-9 overall and 8-6 in Big Ten play heading into a road game against Michigan on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
