WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Zach Edey can finally add a made 3-pointer to his list of incredible accomplishments at Purdue. The 7-foot-4 center made his first-ever shot from behind the arc line in Saturday's rivalry game against Indiana.

Edey had attempted just one 3-point attempt this season, a miss earlier in the year. How fitting that his first ever bucket from long range came against the Hoosiers?

As you can imagine, the Mackey Arena crowd went wild after Edey banked in the shot from distance. Below is the clip:

Edey is well on his way to winning back-to-back National Player of the Year honors. He's been the best player in the game for a second consecutive year.

Edey finished Saturday night's game with 26 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. The Boilermakers defeated the Hoosiers 79-59.

His 3-pointer on Saturday was just another awesome moment in an outstanding career.
