Two Hoosiers Listed Out, Four Questionable in Pregame Availability Report
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana listed two players out and four as questionable in the pregame availability report before a Friday night matchup with Indiana State.
As expected, quarterback Dexter Williams II remains out as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered in the 2022 season finale against Purdue.
Cornerback Jamier Johnson is the other Hoosier listed out. In his first game at Indiana after transferring in from Texas, Johnson went to the locker room with an apparent injury. In Indiana's Week 1 depth chart, Johnson was listed as a second-string cornerback behind redshirt freshman Jamari Sharpe. Former Iowa Western Community College and Notre Dame cornerback JoJo Johnson is now listed in that spot.
The four Hoosiers listed as questionable include cornerback Kobee Minor, safety Bryson Bonds, tight end Trey Walker and offensive lineman Max Longman.
Minor is listed as the second-string cornerback behind Nic Toomer on Indiana's Week 2 depth chart. He was a starter in last week's game against Ohio State, and his father, Darryl Minor, posted on social media after the game that Minor played through an illness. It's unclear if his injury designation is related.
Bonds played a backup role in Week 1, but both Walker and Longman did not play. These three Hoosiers are not listed on the two-deep depth chart.
