BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Khobie Martin announced his commitment to the Indiana football program on Friday.

Martin plays running back for Fishers High School in Fishers, Ind., a suburb located just outside Indianapolis on the northwest side.

Though he was verbally committed to Miami (OH), Martin received a scholarship offer from Tom Allen on Sept. 14. He decommitted from Miami (OH) on Sept. 17, then committed to the Hoosiers less than a week later. Indiana was Martin's first Power 5 offer, but he also held offers from Miami (OH), Austin Peay, Ball State, Eastern Kentucky and Illinois State.

"I am staying home!" Martin posted on social media. "Thank you [Tom Allen] and [Craig Johnson] for believing in me. Let's get this work! 100% committed. #gohoosiers."

Martin stands a 6-foot and 200 pounds. He's considered a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1420 in the nation, No. 101 among running backs and No. 20 in the state of Indiana, per the 247 Sports Composite rankings. He's the first running back to commit to Indiana in the class of 2024.

Martin is in the midst of a big senior season for the 3-2 Fishers Tigers. Heading into Friday's games, Martin ranks sixth among Central Indiana high school running backs in rushing yards. Through five games, Martin has carried the ball 105 times for 768 yards and 12 touchdowns, good for 7.8 yards per carry.

Next up, Fishers hosts Avon High School on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
