WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – It's rivalry week across the country in college football, and that means Indiana and Purdue square off in the Old Oaken Bucket game.
Both teams are having disappointing seasons at 3-8, and the loser will finish the 2023 season with the worst record in the Big Ten.
Previous Indiana-Purdue matchups have had more at stake, but it's still a meaningful rivalry game for those involved.
"So much has been put into this game for so many years," Indiana coach Tom Allen said. "And so much pride in the outcome representing our whole university and fan base and state of Indiana here as we battle for a very prestigious prize."
