Associate Head Coach Of Bryson Williams Does In-Depth Breakdown
The Kansas Jayhawks have ramped up their offers to prospects from the 2025 and 2026 classes, and one of those guys is Bryson Williams. A 6'2", 200-pound 3-star recruit out of St Mary’s High School in Orchard Lake, Michigan, Williams recently spoke with Blue Wings Rising about his offer. We also spoke with his associate head coach (Greg Dixon) recently to dive more in-depth about the prospect.
“Bryson is very adaptive and uses this trait to be successful in all three phases of the game. He is a complete player and has an extremely high Football IQ to match his athleticism and toughness. He can play a multitude of positions at the Power 5 level (RB/WR/Safety/Linebacker/Returner) and be successful. He is an elite soccer player as well and uses those instincts extremely well. He has great spatial recognition and is able to find the ball in the air with ease. He understands the game of football and makes sure he is in a great position to win matchups.”
Bryson Williams Breaks Down His Kansas Offer
Coach Dixon dove even deeper into the on-field skills of Williams. “He attacks his opponents with aggression. Offensively, He can out-jump you, run by you and easily separate from a defender. Defensively, he attacks the ball in the air and will fill quickly to blow up a play. In regard to Special Teams, he has the ability to score every play.” He also speaks about the leadership Williams has. “Bryson leads from the front and by encouraging his teammates. This spans in the classroom with his 3.7 GPA, leading the team in hours of film watched to prepare for a game, competing on 1v1s and running sprints.”
Diving deeper into Williams more so off the field Dixon praises how he does in the classroom. “Bryson loves the challenge of learning new things. Bryson has a cumulative GPA of 3.71 and is getting stronger achieving a 4.0 this last semester. He displays critical thinking and digs deeper to understand a topic. He has already stated that he is interested in Engineering.”
Dixon speaks more on how he is in his free time. “Bryson has good fellowship with his teammates whether it’s playing video games online, going bowling together, or giving younger players a ride home. He is very well-spoken and very strategic in how he approaches life.”
