11 Wildcats to Participate in Kentucky's NFL Pro Day

From Will Levis to Colin Goodfellow, eight position groups will showcase their talents in front of NFL scouts later this month.

Kentucky will host its annual NFL Pro Day on March 24, giving scouts a chance to look at the talent coming out of Lexington ahead of the NFL draft on April 27-29. 

A grand total of 11 former Wildcats will take part at the Nutter Indoor Field House in Lexington:

  • S Tyrell Ajian
  • P Colin Goodfellow
  • LB Jacquez Jones
  • **QB Will Levis
  • **OL Tashawn Manning
  • **RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.
  • K Matt Ruffolo
  • CB Keidron Smith
  • LB DeAndre Square
  • **CB Carrington Valentine
  • LB Jordan Wright 

** participated in the NFL Combine.

Per a release from UK Athletics, "the athletes will be put through a variety of skills tests which includes running and agility drills, bench press, position-specific drills and the vertical jump." 

Scouts will get a second look at Levis, Manning, Rodriguez and Valentine, as all four showcased their skills at the NFL Combine over the weekend in Indianapolis.

“We’re just very proud of those guys," head coach Mark Stoops said. "I didn’t catch exactly what they said, but we’re just very proud of them. They put a lot of time in here. They’re great leaders, great players, great people. It’s no surprise that they would go on and be successful. They’re prepared. We’re just behind them, and it is also good, it’s nice to have some of the pros coming back and they enjoy coming back and working with us. So, it’s good to see.”

Coverage of the Pro Day will be televised on the SEC Network, beginning at 11:30 a.m. EST.
