Could Mark Stoops take the coaching job at Texas A&M?
We are getting to that point in the college football season when coaches are fired, and names start to come out of who will be the next head coach.
Texas A&M fired Jimbo Fisher last week, and now a name floating around for the job is Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops.
Stoops's name seems to float around for almost every coaching search, but this was a talking point on College GameDay and seems to have some real steam around it.
Texas A&M builds its program off having a ton of resources to recruit players, and Coach Stoops always talks about how if Kentucky fans want to win more football games, they need to "pony up."
It will be interesting to see how a win or a loss to Louisville will effect the rumors that the Aggies might try and poach the Wildcats head football coach.
While we don't know if Texas A&M has called Stoops or if he would be interested in the job, his name is floating around, and this is something Cats fans need to pay attention to over the next few days.
