A third former Kentucky Wildcat is headed to Statesboro, Ga. to play for Georgia Southern in 2023.

Rahsaan Lewis, a senior wide receiver out of Orlando, Fla. is making the move to his fourth school in his collegiate career, heading to the Sun Belt to play for the Eagles with former UK tight end Keaton Upshaw and former quarterback Beau Allen:

The son of NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, Rahsaan spent his true freshman season at Central Florida before transferring to Florida Atlantic for the 2019 campaign. He then left to join UK, where he's spent the last three years. He just practiced with the Cats in 2020.

In 2021, Lewis saw action in six games, missing time due to a knee injury mid-season. He totaled two catches for four yards and also had a punt return for 12 yards vs. New Mexico State that season.

Last year, He would total six catches for 65 yards and a score, including his first career touchdown on a three-yard reception against Mississippi State. He had a career-best four catches on a career-best 42 yards, while he also had a career-long 21-yard catch in the win over the Bulldogs.

Lewis' announcement leaves just two Cats still in the portal, which is no longer available to enter:

  • WR Tae Tae Crumes
  • RB Mike Drennen II
