WATCH: Ray Davis punches it in for the Cats to cut Alabama's lead

Ray Davis scores to get the Kentucky Wildcats back in the game.

Ray Davis is the best running back in the SEC, and he continues to prove why on a week-to-week basis. 

Halfway through the third quarter, Davis hasn't gotten it going against the Alabama rush defense, but this is expected as it is one of the best in college football. 

Davis does have 57 scrimmage yards against the Crimson Tide, and he just scored to cut Alabama's lead to 28-14. 

The talented transfer from Vanderbilt is in a dogfight with a few other SEC running backs to lead the conference in yards and rushing touchdowns. 

Hopefully, a strong second half in this game will help him tack on some numbers to those stats. 

If the Cats want to get back in this football game, number one will need to get loose a few times.
