Kentucky dropped in the ESPN FPI rankings after the loss to Missouri
The Kentucky football team is coming off its much needed by week after a painful loss to SEC East rival Missouri.
Heading into the ball game against the Missouri Tigers, Kentucky was ranked 38th in the ESPN FPI rankings. After the loss, they dropped all the way down to 44th.
The Cats projected record dropped from 7.3-4.7 to 6.6-5.4, which means these rankings are starting to lose faith in the Cats.
Mark Stoops's team's chances of winning six or more games dropped from 94.2% to 84.5% after the Missouri loss. This means with every loss, the FPI numbers are losing confidence in the Cats to get to the ever so important six-win mark.
Kentucky's chances of winning the SEC East dropped from 0.6% to 0.3% after a home loss to Missouri.
Now Kentucky is being given a 29.1% chance to take down the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday.
With Alabama and Louisville still on the schedule, the Cats need to start winning football games fast, or this could get ugly.
