Kentucky basketball ranked 17th in ESPN's recent Way-Too-Early Top 25
ESPN put out their most recent Way-Too-Early Top 25 list for this upcoming season of college hoops.
The Cats were ranked 17th in this rankings list.
On ESPN's previous Way-Too-Early Top 25 list, the Cats weren't ranked, so the late additions and Antonio Reeves deciding to stay in Lexington have improved the outlook of this team to the national media.
This list has the Cats third in the SEC behind Tennessee at the eight spot and Arkansas at the 14 spot.
These are both talented teams, but I expect the Cats to be better when we get into the 2023-24 season.
Kentucky has way more talent than both of these teams, and some of that talent is of the veteran variety.
People seem to be downplaying this Kentucky roster, but if everything clicks, including Aaron Bradshaw and Ugonna Onyenso getting healthy and Big Z is deemed eligible, this is one of the best teams in college basketball.
People need to watch out for this 2023-24 Kentucky team, and Coach Cal and the fellas have something special on the way that could send State Street into a frenzy.
