Kentucky Briefing: Zvonimir Ivisic is officially a Wildcat
Kentucky recently landed the commitment of seven-foot-two center Zvonimir Ivisic, who is a unicorn.
He has a guard's handle, can shoot the three ball, and protects the rim at a high level.
When it comes to Ivisic's jump shoot, it is one of the most natural-looking jumpers I have ever seen from a seven-footer.
He adds depth to the front court to go along with a banged-up Aaron Bradshaw and Ugonna Onyenso.
Both Bradshaw and Onyenso are dealing with injuries that could hold them out early in the season, so adding Ivisic is massive for this Kentucky Basketball team.
Ivisic, or "Big Z" as he is also called, takes this 2023-24 Kentucky basketball team to a new level as a team that can win a National Championship.
Stoops Troops
The Kentucky football team had a recent fall camp scrimmage, and according to Coach Stoops, he likes where they are at as we head to the start of the season.
Barion Brown did not participate in the scrimmage, so the offense was without its biggest weapon.
Devin Leary made some beautiful throws that should excite the Big Blue Nation.
Coach Stoops was happy with the defense and said they did an excellent job of limiting the rushing attack.
It is almost football time in the Bluegrass, and this Wildcat team is primed to shock some people.
Coach Stoops Said It
Coach Stoops broke down the recent scrimmage and had this to say about the offense and QB1 Devin Leary.
"Offensively, we created some explosive plays, which was good. Devin (Leary) is getting full-go reps. It was really good for him to see and be comfortable in there. There's things he did extremely well, and there's some areas that he'll see and be more patient to go through the progression. We hit some good plays."
