So, you thought you were done with the transfer portal, didn't you?

Not quite. On April 15, a 15-day window opened, allowing players to once again enter and try and find new homes. Just hours into the window, Kentucky had its first player enter — redshirt freshman cornerback Andre Stewart.

Coming out of North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Ga., Stewart was rated as the No. 522 overall player and No. 50 CB in the 2021 class. He committed to UK on March 12, 2021, choosing the Wildcats after originally committing to Auburn.

The 5-foot-11, 184-pounder totaled 25 tackles, nine pass breakups, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and an interception, as a senior at North Cobb, helping the Warriors win the 2021 7A Region 3 Championship and finish with a 10-2 overall record. He then came to Kentucky where he didn't see the field, redshirting.

With the addition to transfer portal DBs in JQ Hardaway and Jantzen Dunn to a talented room, Stewart has made the decision to look elsewhere.

Don't expect Stewart to be the only name leaving Lexington over the course of the next two weeks.
