On April 27, the first round of the 2023 NFL draft will commence. With many storylines heading into the huge event, none may be bigger than the landing spot for Will Levis.

The Kentucky quarterback has been the talk of the football world in the lead-up to the draft, as he has been cheered and jeered for his skillset and personality over the course of his two seasons in Lexington, as well as his representation of himself throughout the NFL combine, UK's Pro Day and other events.

With a heap of teams though to be possible destinations for the Penn State transfer, it is anyone's guess as to where or when the quarterback will get drafted. Levis will have the opportunity to witness it all in person in Kansas City, as he's one of 17 players that was invited to attend the draft:

"If I get invited and if I know i'll be a pretty high pick, then i'll definitely go,"Levis told local media ahead of Kentucky's NFL Pro Day. "I'm looking forward to going. I don't want to go if I could be like a second-round pick, you know? Don't want to have the camera on you all day."

Levis is being compared next to three other high-profile QBs — Bryce Young (Alabama), C.J. Stroud (Ohio State) and Anthony Richardson (Florida). A majority of mock drafts currently peg Young and Stroud to be the first two names off the board, with Levis and Richardson somewhere right behind. The Indianapolis Colts have become a popular team in the Levis sweepstakes, currently holding the No. 4 overall pick.

Before Levis' Pro Day showcase, he met with the Carolina Panthers — who currently own the No. 1 pick — for dinner. It was an experience that solidified just how close he is to hearing his name called, changing his life forever:

"It's crazy, I literally had a moment at dinner yesterday, it was one of those 'this is real life' moments.' I'm at the table with pretty much the whole staff — who has the No. 1 pick, because they're interested in potentially picking me," Levis said. "That's insane. Not a lot of people can say that."

The road to Kansas City is almost over, as Levis' name will be called in less than two weeks.
