WATCH: Adou Thiero finishes strong at the rim for a tough basket

Adou Thiero is a beast down low.

Sophomore guard Adou Thiero grew to 6-8 222 pounds over the offseason and showed that off to start the second half for the Cats.

Thiero was fouled hard and was able to keep his balance and release the ball, making the layup and getting to the line.

Thiero, alongside Antonio Reeves, Tre Mitchell, and Ugonna Onyenso, will be the veteran leadership on this team, which will be much needed with all the young players.

It was a rough first half for the Cats, but they have come out firing in the second half thanks to these veteran players.

Kentucky now leads 54-40 with a little over 15 minutes left in the ball game.

Let's take a look at Thiero's tough basket that got the Cats going to start the second half.
