College GameDay will be in town for one of Kentucky's upcoming road games

Kentucky will head to a challenging road environment next week.

A tough game just got tougher as College GameDay will be in Auburn when the Kentucky Wildcats take on the Tigers.

To give Auburn Head Coach Bruce Pearl some credit, he took over an Auburn program that was one of the worst in college basketball and has turned it around. Fans are excited, and that has given the Tigers a solid home-court advantage.

College basketball analyst Jimmy Dykes was in Auburn for their matchup earlier this week against Alabama and had this to say about the environment, "16 hours later... my ears are still ringing. The @AUJungle is just different than any other student section in CBB. Not a tougher environment in all of CBB right now."

If Kentucky wants to win this game, they are going to have to shoot the ball well but also defend. Auburn is a top-ten team in KenPom in both adjusted offense and defense, so the Wildcats will have to show up on the road.

For a team looking for a big win, this is the perfect opportunity as Auburn projects to be a top seed in the NCAA Tournament, and beating them on their home floor would not only be a big confidence boost for Kentucky but would also potentially jump John Calipari's team a seed line.

If Kentucky can win in Auburn, they can beat the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville, so this is a really good time for the Wildcats to get hot.

As all Kentucky fans know, if this team defends, they beat anyone, and it seems like they are going to buy in after the ugly loss to Tennessee.
