We are nearing the midpoint of SEC play, and the Kentucky Wildcats are 5-2 to this point. 

The schedule will not ease up as schools like Tennessee x2 and Auburn are still on the schedule for the Kentucky Wildcats. With multiple shots at the Volunteers coming up and dates with Alabama and Auburn, the Wildcats could win the SEC Regular Season Title with a strong finish to conference play. Kentucky is coming off a game where they played some incredible defense against the Arkansas Razorbacks, which is hopefully a positive sign for the future.

ESPN's metrics are way too low on this Kentucky basketball team, as they have the Wildcats finishing the season 22-9 and going 11-7 in SEC play. I can promise you the Wildcats will not lose five more games in SEC play. The Wildcats are not getting the respect they deserve, but this is one of the best teams in all of college basketball. If they get better on the defensive side of things, they are the best team in all of college basketball.
