Kentucky Briefing: The North Carolina Tar Heels are 1.5-point favorites over the Cats

Would you take Kentucky to cover a +1.5-point spread against North Carolina?

The Kentucky Wildcats are getting ready to face off with the #9 North Carolina Tar Heels in Atlanta, Georgia, in a massive game for both teams.

If Kentucky is able to win the game, it will boost their NET Ranking and AP Poll ranking, which would help a ton with NCAA Tournament seeding.

The betting line was something that many Kentucky and North Carolina fans were curious about, but right now, FanDuel has the line set at 1.5 in favor of the Tar Heels. Some thought the line would be a bit larger in the direction of the Tar Heels, so Vegas believes this will be a close game.

When it comes to which side of this, I would bet it would be the Kentucky money line. Breaking down this game for over a week now, the Cats can win this game if they play well.

If Kentucky gets this win, it would be a massive boost for Kentucky's chances of being a high seed in March.

We wrote it

I wrote about how many minutes Ugonna Onyenso will play if he is good to go against the Tar Heels.

"According to Coach Calipari in his Monday radio show, sophomore seven-footer Ugonna Onyenso is set to make his season debut against UNC, barring any setbacks."

"This will be the second seven-footer the Cats got back as Aaron Bradshaw returned to game action against UNC Wilmington."
