Kentucky Briefing: On3's recruiting prediction machine gives Kentucky's percentage chance of landing VJ Edgecombe
Kentucky already has five players in the 2024 recruiting class: Jayden Quaintance, Boogie Fland, Somto Cyril, Travis Perry, and Billy Richmond.
John Calipari is still looking to add to this class, and one of the players he is after is five-star combo guard VJ Edgecombe.
Edgecombe is ranked as the number five player in the 2024 class according to On3's rankings.
On3's recruiting prediction machine gives the Cats a 20.7% chance to land Edgecombe, which is second behind St. John's at 23.7% and just ahead of Duke at 17.8%.
Watching the film on Edgecombe, he is a star that will take the college basketball world by storm next season. Kentucky fans would love to see him do that in Lexington.
All Kentucky fans know if Coach Calipari wants a player, more times than not, he will get him, so if he puts the full-court press out on Edgecombe, the Cats are still in this race.
You can expect a decision to come somewhat soon from Edgecombe, and hopefully, he will be a Wildcat.
