Kentucky basketball has been a streaky team when it comes to betting this season.

After going on a stretch of 11 games without covering a spread, the Wildcats rang off four covers in a row, each one coming with a victory that slowly pulled UK out of the hole it dug itself across the first half of the campaign.

That streak ATS came to end with a 77-68 loss to Kansas over the weekend inside Rupp Arena. Kentucky shot up to a 3-point favorite before tipoff after opening as an underdog against the Jayhawks the day before.

The loss dropped Kentucky's overall record against the spread to 8-13. It now takes on the Ole Miss Rebels inside the SJB Pavilion in Oxford on Tuesday night. Currently 9-12, the Rebels hold an even worse record ATS — 6-13-2.

Coach Kermit Davis' team has failed to cover the spread in eight of 10 games, most recently failing to cover as a 9.5-point underdog to Oklahoma State in Stillwater over the weekend, losing 82-60.

Kentucky will look to avoid another losing streak, this time as a 7.5-point favorite. Ole Miss' leading scorer Matthew Murrell — who averages 14.9 points-per-game — is questionable to play after missing the past two games due to a knee injury. If the junior guard is ruled out before tipoff, the line could shoot up towards double-digits in favor of UK.

Tipoff is set for 9 p.m. EST and will air on ESPN. Wildcats Today will have game coverage as Kentucky seeks a third victory in a row away from home.
