While it's been a rough go for Oscar Tshiebwe as of late, he's still averaging an impressive 15.5 points and 13.3 rebounds-per-game.

The Kentucky superstar has once again been tabbed to the Naismith Award Midseason Team, as he seeks to repeat as National Player of the Year. He's one of 30 players named to the team, and one of just two SEC players on the list, joining Alabama's freshman superstar Brandon Miller:

The highlight of Tshiebwe's season came on Jan. 17 against Georgia, as he led the Cats to a win with a career-high 37 points and 24 rebounds inside Rupp Arena. It's one of six games this season that he's eclipsed 20 points and one of 13 games where's acquired a double-double.

Things have slowed down for the West Virginia transfer as of late, however. After scoring just four points on 2-14 shooting over the weekend against Florida, he managed only seven points and seven rebounds against Arkansas on Tuesday night, simultaneously losing multiple battles on the defensive end.

"You know, you as a coach, you go with what got you there, and I wanted to -- it was a bigger picture for Oscar than just this game. It was like, let's get him going just to get him right," Calipari said after the loss to the Razorbacks.

Tshiebwe and the Cats will look to get back on track this Saturday in Athens as they look for a season sweep over the Georgia Bulldogs. Tipoff is set for noon EST and will air on ESPN.
