2024 3-Star EDGE Caleb Redd Commits to Kentucky
Chalk up another win on the recruiting trail for Kentucky football.
After a jam-packed week of commits last week, the Wildcats have added another 3-star prospect to the docket on Wednesday, as 3-star EDGE Caleb Redd became the 10th pledge to UK's 2024 class.
Standing 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, the Saint Louis native chose UK over the likes of Kansas State, Nebraska and Oklahoma. He took an official visit to Lexington on June 16 and followed it up with a commitment less than two weeks later.
Redd is ranked as the No. 885 overall player, No. 64 EDGE and No. 13 player in the state of Missouri, per the On3 Consensus. The DeSmet High School product's recruitment was led by safeties coach Frank Buffano.
Redd is the eighth 3-star commit in UK's '24 class, which also features regarded kicker/punter specialist Jacob Kauwe and 4-star quarterback Cutter Boley, who currently headlines the class.
